The Clock Tower Entrance is one of the three main entrances of Hogwarts Castle. The massive steel and iron pendulum of the Clock Mechanism swings slowly over this Entrance. The pendulum seems to have an imprint of a many armed star on it, if one looks closely at it with what appears to be runic symbols on the outer rim of the pendulum bob. The Entrance can be sealed with a portcullis and the massive double doors can be locked with numerous bolts.
