Evan had done what he always did. Woke and got himself ready for the day. Had breakfast and some coffee with his wife and helped feed and change the babies before coming into work. It was tough leaving them each day but someone had to do it and that someone just so happened to be him.
Entering the room his eyes first found the back of his boss. Interesting. She usually wasn't in here unless she needed to speak with someone. Making his way slowly to his cubical he then found the reason for Lynley's visit. Gabby was here. With her...baby? Evan wasn't aware they were allowed to bring their children into work with them. If he'd have known this he would've brought his own, though he might not have gotten much done with two little ones to look after. Oh well, that wasn't important now.
"Good morning Lynley," the man greeted with a polite nod of his head. "Gabby it's nice to see you, are you back now or just visiting?" Simple curious question really. Blue eyes turned onto the lovely baby girl all dressed up in her little car seat. "And who is this pretty little one?" Yes he was a man true to his work and very focused but he loved children.
