Resident Ghost of Gryffindor | Chivilrous & Sociable

That time of term again! It was always a bittersweet moment for the ghost as the castle became devoid of life and it was left to the enduring watchful eye of the ghosts, but Sir Nicholas always elected to see these feasts as celebrations. No matter how hard it was at times to bid farewell to the graduating class.

Thus he appeared in his standard ceremonial way up up UP through the center of the Gryffindor house table with a dashing grin about his semi transparent features.

Those thoughts were on the prefect's mind as he swaggered into the hall, his red badge shining bright. He was shocked to see that he was the first to arrive at the Gryffindor table, but that was fine with him. It only meant that he would be getting the best seat possible. If only there wasn't a wait for food...

Sitting down, the blond kept his eye on the at . He was hoping to catch sight of Hady and wave her over before she decided to sit at the Slytherin table. And if anyone asked what he was doing, he'd just say he was keeping tabs on his housemates.

"Good evening, Frankie. Delightful summer line up for yourself I imagine?"

Right now, his mother was probably worrying herself into a fit and his father was probably waiting by the window in case an owl came begging them to come collect him.

He couldn't say he blamed them, not after everything that'd happened. In truth, he was a little shocked they'd let him come at all now that his Finals were over and he didn't have reason to be here but here he was walking into the Great Hall.

It felt...weird. When was the last time he walked in here? April? Skillfully, the boy kept his eyes locked on the Gryffindor table as he made his way over. He would not look up at the Staff Dais; he would not look up at Professor Primeaux, nor would he look at the Headmaster who never bothered to reply to his parents. Thanks to them, this might very well be his last night here.

Although......that wasn't such a bad thought entirely. Blaise flopped somewhere closer to the end of the table, his quill and notepad floating along next to him. In some ways, he was excited to be back for the night because it meant a train ride with his friends tomorrow, but in other ways...he was wondering why he'd bothered to come.

HARK! Look who it was!

"Absolutely delightful to see you back here in the castle, Blaise," the ghost grinned as he floated towards the young man. "Gone without so much as a parting wave of the hand!"
