This was another one of the duels that he was sure would thoroughly help the student dueller, simply because they had expressed an interest in learning more in the world of Defence. So, why not put him up against an Auror? Surely, his mum would be pleased if he came out of this in good spirits?

The man had a lot of confidence in Zeke Browne, whether the boy knew it or not, so he wasn't all that fussed with this duel. He could stand back and watch it unfold. As glad as he was that Miss James was putting Zeke through his paces, he was also glad that the boy wasn't backing down anytime soon. It wasn't in his nature, was it? Good. Really.
And, all too soon, the duel had to come to a close. Which was a shame, really, because the man had been looking forward to seeing how the young Gryffindor would react to more spells shot by the Auror. The familiar shield was shot up and Hirsch moved out into the open. "Brilliant! Really, that was an excellent duel," he said, smiling at the two of them, "Thank you for your time, Miss James. I appreciate you coming in to give Zeke a challenge." And how did he fare? Hm?
