And even more than surprised....she was displeased.

"Good morning, Gabby...you're doing okay today? let me know if you need anything..." she said softly, avoiding the baby with her eyes. "Umm.." she lowered her voice and scooted to sit next to the carrier on Gabby's desk. "If you could...make sure....the baby...doesn't distract you? Or..the others?" She felt like a HUGE WITCH...but..legitimate concerns here.

But, she decided to .....throw in a compliment. "The baby looks nice today."
