Adam slid into the chair of an empty table. Even though he’d been working in the Ministry for a year now, he still didn’t know many people. Plus it was easier to sit by himself because there was less change of people asking him questions he couldn’t answer about his work (and less opportunity for him to make a fool of himself with his poor English). He spared a moment of thanks for his food as he unwrapped his spoon.

Andrina made her way down to the food court, she had a lunch made from home, nothing to special, left over chicken parmigiana from last night's dinner along with a nice green salad..

She picked up some sparkling lemonade from the food court and paid for that before looking around for a place to sit..

Hmmm, it seemed she had gotten here at a bad time for all of the tables were full, a frown crossed her lips as she looked for anyone she knew..and her purple eyes zeroed in on one of her co-workers!

She made a beeline towards him and smile as she stood near his table..

"I'm so sorry, but all the tables are full, may I sit with you?" Andi asked him with a smile.
