Obviously he needed to have stronger wards and locks on his office. It was unfortunate though, because he hadn't thought there would be a need for them. Perhaps he had been naive.
He glanced down at the mud as she pointed it out. "Are they prints though? I think they could be, but they aren't very well defined so I wasn't completely sure. I suppose we can go see if they lead down the corridor." That would probably tell them if they were or not, not that he had noticed on his way in but he hadn't really been looking either. Well, Kay was pretty intent on looking for them anyway, so he chuckled as she headed out the door, and he soon followed after. "Alright... wait for me." Maybe it would give him some sort of clue anyway. "Then this definitely had to have happened when you were away. I wasn't around either so I saw nothing suspicious.'' Kaysha set the books she had gathered from the floor onto Ansley's desk. Since she wasn't very much familiar where they belonged, she reasoned she would leave him to put them back in the right places. "Humour me, Anlsey.'' Kay smiled. "If we don't turn up any clues, maybe we can check to see if Roderick saw anything.'' After all, the three of them shared offices on the first floor. She waited for Ansley to catch up then resumed her expedition to find out where all that mud came from. |
