Harriet just beamed at the boy. she was glad that he wanted to be her partner. She really wanted to practice her shield charm. She was confident with it, but also knew that it didn't hurt to practice it. "Ooh. Yes. that sounds good!" Because it was actually really what she wanted to do. She wanted to make sure that she could do the charm well, otherwise she would need to practice.
Smiling she stood a few steps away, and pulled her wand out. She performed the wand movement whilst saying
"Protego!" and she just hoped that her shield was strong enough.
