There was absolutely no issue with using Immobulous first; in fact Esme had expected it since that was a harder spell to use than Protego. Sky's gaze was momentarily distracted as she heard a familiar older Hufflepuff, Scarlett, telling off her housemate for sleeping. Why would he be sleeping in this class of all classes, was Sky's first thought because well charms was actually practical and very useful knowledge. Not to mention interesting; if she had to guess someone didn't sleep well the night before ..

Never mind though because it was best to not draw more attention to him than necessary, so Sky looked back over at Esme. "okay! I'm ready when you are!"

Focused and ready, the first year confidently cast "Protego!" and waited, hoping somehow it'd be strong enough tol protect her from Esme's charm, even if she doubted it would hold up... It might be a good enough deterrent ? Maybe ?
