Trying hard to make sure Nicole didn't actually see her watching her, Maggie casually glanced at the other girl. Was that a howler? Oh, interesting. She briefly wondered who it was for. Maybe she should do that. Send a howler. To her dad maybe. Honestly, by now she was pretty much done with him. So done. This was....just not fair and he wasn't worth the time she'd spent being upset over this. Ugh. Okay. Yes.

Her eyes briefly met Nicole's gaze as she looked back up. Maggie made a point of keeping a disinterested look on her face as she once again scanned the area for Zeke's owl. Seriously, she did NOT want to use one of the school owls. She didn't trust them. And they were gross. No way was she touching them.
