Oh oh oh oh oh they get to do the charms he suggested. New found confidence welled inside of the Gryffindor Ace, he knew these spells pretty well given how often he's used them. Yes he's used the bubblehead charm often. Anybody who's stayed 5 minutes in the Gryffindors Boys' dorms would find it a necessary survival skill.
He practiced the Protego spell a few times, even trying out some of the stronger variations of it. Not quite as predictable as his regular Protego… but ey he can make them. Also he's learned quite a bit from going up against Senpai Auror at the Dueling Meeting, no matter how brief it was. There are people which much stronger spell casting than he can defend right now, and he needed to really step up the skill set.
