But Muggle Studies was her favorite subject and she liked contributing, so she raised her hand anyway. "Gustave Eiffel owned the company that constructed the Eiffel Tower. That's why it's named Eiffel, the tower was named after him. The two Muggles that led the effort to build it were named Maurice and Emile." Although Kitty had never been to France, she had read about it in a Muggle history book about Europe. "I think it's simply brilliant how Muggles are able to create things like the Eiffel Tower without magic," Kitty reflected. "It would be so easy for a team of people with wands to build something, but imagine all the work it would take to do it without any magic at all. They're really formidable, Muggles," she finished fondly. |
