The room was just... vast and deserted and a little creepy, and it didn't make Dot feel any better that she had to leave her things at the front of the room. At least she had her wand. And her fists. And a bad attitude, so keep it frosty, Prof.
The students who had arrived so far were scattered around the room, so Dot picked a random square in the middle near the back and seated herself primly. "Good day, Professor. I hope you're well." He looked grumpy, actually, but it wasn't one of those things you pointed out to someone.
