Connor shook his head. "It's still vague. I barely remember what happened. All I know was that one moment I was working in the Death Chamber and then nothing. Absoloutely nothing.'' He looked at Addi, very much distraught. "It's been a very long time, hasn't it?'' Connor did not remember the exact date he had lost his memory. Of all the persons working in the Mysteries Department, this had to have happened to him. "How is he? Our son?'' She wasn't a crier. Addi had never been even back as a young child. Tumbles, scrapes, major falls from trees and heights only a broom could take you, broken bones more then once. Many a day could she had been in tears but it was not something she gave into often. Happy tears such as these and for a reason such as this couldn't be avoided.
Her hand remained in his where it had always been a perfect fit giving it another light squeeze. His words were ones she hadn't at all expected but then again she didn't expect this day to come even though she had prayed endlessly that it would. He didn't remember. "No one seems to know what happened that day Connor. All anyone could tell me was before lunch you were in the Chamber and after lunch no one had seen you. They all had thought you had possibly just gone home...only you hadn't." He had disappeared and no one had known why or where he had gone.
Wait. Didn't he know how long it's been? The blonde looked up at him slowly before answering softly, "It has. Nearly four years. It's been a very long time." Time they would never get back but she wasn't about to let them keep them from moving forward and being the family they always had been. Then Connor asked that. "Koen, he's doing really well. Smart but very stubborn. Turning out to be a bit of a prankster like Evan (her brother) and somewhat of a troublemaker. He's learned the guitar and still brings talks about you constantly." The boy missed his father.
