37. Relashio

"Okay Lily, when you feel the urge I want you to PUSH!"
Lily nodded through pants, sweat dripping from her face, knees up and grasping James' hands.
"Oww... owwowwowwowwwwwww," she managed to get out between pants, and with a deep breath she PUSHED with every ounce of power she could.
"Good job Lily, your baby is crowning," the healer said with encouragement.
"Relashio! RELASHIO!" James was shouting through clenched teeth.
"What?" Lily said, turning her face to him. "What are you complaining about?" Honestly? HE was complaining?
"Lily you're crushing my hand."
"Oh," she said, releasing them. James stretched his fingers out and gave his hands a shake. But this baby wasn't stopping for its father. No sooner had James started to see his hands pink up again than Lily's fingers enclosed around his shirt collar, yanking him down towards her with the pain of another contraction.
"AAaahhhhh," she groaned as she pushed.
"At least I can replace a shirt," James muttered, though thankfully Lily didn't hear it.
"And the head has been born," the healer announced.
