It was nice to see Haddie using the journal and wearing the bracelets that Penelope had given her for her birthday. She eyed Haddie suspiciously at the comment about not letting her graduate. Penelope had made it this far, and nothing was going to stop her from graduating. Well, she wouldn't be surprised if something really unexpected happened and everyone was eaten by acromantulas or was stuck in the school and couldn't leave because of weird snowstorms, but the chances of those things happening were slim. Penelope fully intended to make it out of Hogwarts alive. "Haddie, you can't stop me from graduating. I'm going to study advanced charms and advanced transfiguration at university."

Yes, she would have to keep in touch with Haddie. "We should definitely get together over the summer. My little sister Isa is coming to Hogwarts next year. You should meet her." She liked the idea of seeing Haddie over the summer, and she would make sure it happened. At Haddie's next question, Penelope gestured at the pile of textbooks and notes. "Studying for NEWTS." All of her textbooks and every page of notes she had ever taken for charms, transfiguration, and astronomy were in the stack on the table. Later would be divination, arithmancy, and DADA. She was taking a lot of NEWTS, and she was hoping for Os on all of them. Penelope was in full study mode and all work on studying chemistry, physics, and math had been put aside while she focused on her NEWT subjects. Recently she hadn't been doing much outside of class except studying. "What's going on in your life?"
