March 31, 2090. That date was going to be engrained in his mind forever. There was yet another reason why today of all days was quite possibly the best day of his life thus far. The mandrake leaf was no longer in his mouth; he was seventeen; and he had just kissed Hady Lynch, which was a big deal since it had been months since the last time he had done so. Best. Birthday. Ever.
Frankie, once their kiss had passed, just stood there taking everything in. The world felt whole again, and he had no regrets for kissing her right then and there. It was all rather sweet really, with everything coming in full circle. They had shared their first kiss on her birthday years ago, and now they were making up on his birthday. It felt right.
He squeezed back after she sneakily slid her hand into his. When she mentioned that they should go eat, he simply nodded his head and let her lead the way. The blond certainly wasn't going to say no to filling up his stomach. For a moment, however, he was concerned. She was heading in a direction opposite of the Great Hall. But that basket was in her hand, so he didn't say a word. He, feeling as if someone had casted a feather-light charm on him, simply followed along wherever she happened to be taking them.
With her hand still very much holding onto his although the hold was gentle Hady made her way up several flights of stairs. Once she had begun walking and didn't hear a complaint from the blonde she knew where she was going. One of her most favorite spots in the entire castle. The RoR. It was where it all began in a sense so it only seemed most fitting for it to start again there.
Arriving at the corridor on the seventh floor Hady reluctantly let his hand go. It was that or drag him back and forth with her as she paced the floor to get the door to appear. Her thoughts were focused on what 'he' would like. It was his birthday so colors that would fit him and things she knew he liked most were thought of. She wasn't going crazy but more calm, relaxing. A simple but nice place to eat, maybe a small fire place. Thankfully she knew him well enough.
Glancing at the door when it appeared Hady sent a bright smile Frankie's way. Grabbing the basket again she placed a hand on the door handle and tugged it open letting them inside.
