Frankie simply shook his head when she asked if anyone interesting had gone by. The only person he saw for just a split second had been blocked from his view the moment she covered his eyes with her hands. Not that it was a big deal to him. He was just passing the time while he waited at the designated location.
"Lucky me," he repeated. The blond was certainly looking forward to that. He could cast spells on anyone or anything whenever he wanted now. He didn't have to be on school grounds to do a bit of magic. That thought, for a moment, made him feel old. But then he remembered that he actually knew what it was like to be old (thanks to a certain potion-testing session) and that he was far from it.
His eyes were locked on the small basket now, wondering what in Merlin's beard was inside of it. There really was only one thing he could do: he had to open it, and he certainly wasn't going to wait until later to do so. At Hady's invitation, Frankie took out his wand and gave it a wave. The summoned basket flew into his hands, and he looked at Hady to see if she was going to let anything slip before he saw whatever was inside.
That neutral look on her face informed him that she wasn't going to budge on this one, so he opened the lid and started pulling out its contents. The first item was a book. The prefect gave the brunette a look ... and then he saw the title, which changed his expression to that of approval. He'd definitely be reading that one, since it pertained to his desired career.
But wait! There was more!
Further inside the basket were a few containers. The bigger one that was pulled out wasn't clear, but he had a feeling in his gut that it was some type of meal. Knowing Hady, he probably made his favourite for him. The other containers caught his eye next. These ones were clear, and what he saw made his mouth start to water. Two chocolate cupcakes. This girl knew him too well sometimes.
Without saying a word, Frankie carefully set the items down. Hady deserved a bear hug of appreciation. SQUEEZE.
