Genny was counting on her professors to send her to the headmaster's office at one point during the year but it did not happen. She missed the chance of going there last year because she could not fit that into her schedule of exploring Hogwarts. This year, she decided to make an exception to the headmaster's office because it was her dad's office for SO long. She wanted to see where all those stories he told her took place, ignorant of the fact that this particular office changed almost radically with every headmaster/mistress that followed.
"Oh! Gargoyle!" She exclaimed as soon as she made it to the office's super secret gate (as she'd like to call it). "Hiiii..... do you talk?" She knocked on the gargoyle's face. "I don't know the password." Maybe the headmaster would sense her presence and allow her in. Or the gargoyle would strike a deal with her and let her in!
