Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Today, March 31, was quite possibly the best day of his life for a number of reasons. To start off, it was Friday. Classes were over and the weekend was finally here. Secondly, he would finally be able to take that bitter mandrake leaf out of his mouth after successfully keeping it there for a month. Lastly and most importantly, it was his birthday. Frankie was seventeen now, which meant that he was an adult and could do magic outside of school and get an apparition license and all the other adult things.
The first thing he wanted to do now that he was free to do whatever was take out that leaf and eat like he never had before. It had been AGES since he had a proper Frankie-sized meal. However, instead of heading straight to the Great Hall, he was watching the massive pendulum swing back and forth. Right before leaving the Charms classroom, Hady had snuck a note in his hand telling him to meet her at the Clock Tower Entrance.
So there he was, waiting ever so patiently. Once he got tired of following the pendulum with his eyes, his gaze shifted to the window ... only to see a building on the other side. Such an odd place for a window, he thought as he listened carefully for footsteps.
