"Miss Portrait Lady," Because Dora had not caught her name, "Do YOU have any fun gossip to share?" And Dora gave her a winning smile to go along with it. Quote:

He' figure it out once he got down that way and saw which class was filling in. "I'll figure that out later." He said with a smile and nod. "No...no, no. You're perfectly dusted and your frame is very straight on the wall here. Possibly the best placed through all of Hogwarts." He wasn't going to admit to being easily distracted. So pandering to a Painting seemed the better option. "Dora" He nodded to his Housemate. Then turned to see that she was chatting with Dante! OH OH Torrance like Dante! Dante was like super cool and stuff!! He waved happily at the older Slytherin. Maybe that would be enough to lure him over here so he can also come chat with the Portrait Lady...and that would make doing THIS like 11x cooler! "No...I don't want to hear Gossip." Gossip was dumb. Drama was dumb, Torrance wanted no part of any of that stupid stuff. Besides maybe the only Gossip they'd get is something Scandalous Sir Cadogan did....Actually He wouldn't mind hearing funny stories about the Knight. He stayed quiet for just a moment then looked at Dora. "Changed my mind. Gossip us up." He really hoped she'd tell them some juicy portrait drama now. The boy didn't know what class he was headed to? Well that was a shame. She enjoyed talking about lessons and things the students were learning. "Muggle studies is a good class. You can learn some valuable things." It wasn't one of her favorites, but she could have a conversation about it, plus she knew over time muggles had become very accepted. She learned that from a student who liked to speak with her often. "I always thought Transfiguration was a great class. Many things you will use outside of school comes from that class." The others were valuable as well, but not as used outside of school. Charms was the other useful one in her book. "Well good, I'd hate to have dust on my frame. Students skip over me anymore so I was afraid I wasn't being seen." So it was just that students didn't want to speak to Iris. Well that was unfortunate. Hearing another child she looked over with glee. This was exciting, not only one child but three. "I have no gossip and gossip is not something to stuff your brains full of. It doesn't leave room for the important things." Though she might listen if they wanted to discuss things such as gossip. She was just happy to have company. |
