Ah, the annual rite of passage that is the first years' flying lesson. Tiara loved it! She felt a sense of pride in being able to guide new students through a wizarding tradition that had stood the test of time, and she loved watching students conquer their fears.
For this particular year, it was a bit later than normal. The weather had been less than cooperative until recently, and goodness knows you don't want to hold such a lesson in gusty winds. Today was the picture of perfection, however. Gentle breeze, puffy clouds wafting by, and warm enough that once you got moving it would be perfectly comfortable. And ideal March day, all things considered.
Tiara stood by the broom shed in eager anticipation of her first years. The door was open, making it obvious that the students were to go in and select their own wooden companion. Let the fun begin!
