He stopped and turned taking a deep breath. "That was not an optional request. That is what is expected at this detention. If you wanted the option to keep it or not then I would suggest just doing the spells when asked and not needing to land yourself in detention." There was not anything new to learn in the detention so note taking was not going to happen.


He watched the boy for a few more moments waiting and possibly tapping his foot impatiently. He had plenty of things he could be doing right now and this was not something he enjoyed even if the students thought otherwise. He liked seeing his students succeed and enjoy learning, but this, this was just not what he enjoyed.
