Sahnoun set his plate down on the table, not a simple bit of it had made it to his mouth. What was meant to be a fun social event with a sense of order quickly became chaotic. Having just told those around him who were still sane to separate the trouble-makers, the headmaster didn't know where to turn next. Sora was moving Miss Wojack-Gusey away from Mr. Paton while managing to stick James' shoes to the floor; Miss Lynch was tending to Mr. Paton like a mother bear; Airey, who clearly wasn't right in the head right now, was abusing the point system and sent Mr. Song sliding into the corridor; Leo sent a Patronus to Art; and Mr. Paton ... well, it just wasn't his lucky day today. "Dank you for repairing da cabinet, Miss Lynch," the man said to the Slytherin with that deep voice of his. "Let's not move him just to be on da safe side. We'll summon da healer. Stay next to him in case someone tries walking all over him or if he wakes up." He nodded his head and dug deep into his robe pocket for his wand that he used only for more complex magic. After a silver serval erupted from his wand and headed straight for the hospital wing, the African placed the wand back into its designated pocket.
His brown eyes then looked upon James. He looked quite irritated that Sora had prevented him from leaving the room. The man didn't undo the woman's spell, though. Clearly something was wonky with those brownies he brought, and the headmaster, based the behaviour of those that ate them, suspected a love potion was involved (Art would be the one who could confirm that, though). The professor needed to stay put for questioning. But first he had a few students and a certain professor to prevent from leaving the room.
Deciding to take a leaf out of Sora's book, the man pointed a finger at Miss Wojack-Gusey, Mr. Salander, and Airey. A nonverbal sticking charm was casted on their feet so that they wouldn't be able to move. With another wave, he undid Airey's the silencing charms he had casted on the two prefects. Sahnoun found silencing them totally unnecessary when the astronomer was being just as loud.
Finally, he turned his attention to Leo who was concerned for any of the students that left the room under the influence of the assumed love potion. It was just Mr. Song who had left, right? "If you can go search for him, please do so. Seek help from da other professors and students and gather back here. Sora and I can hold da fort until Art shows up." |
