Yeah, I did mention her because they didn't stop yelling where she was." The divination professor explained the situation to Professor Newton.
Excuse her, she needed to deal with Draper first.
Ugh, this man... Was it too hard to say yes or no? Or he wanted to lie again? Just lie, she would not believe it. Maybe a drop of veritaserum to his throat would help. Sora tried to calm herself down. "This will be easier if you just tell us the truth, Professor." She said. Please, be cooperative here. "If you say yes, then you were guilty. But if not... Just tell us where did you get the brownies and prove that you had nothing to do with this... lovey dovey madness."
And why she thought that the brownies was the cause of this incident? This is a very simple answer, she didn't eat any of them, neither was Draper himself, the Headmaster and other sane people around here. James narrowed his eyes. This one just made it to the top of his list, which was quite a task considering that Poncho Paul was very difficult to beat out. But then again, nothings impossible. Clearly. Though he suspected that it'd be impossible to get this woman to leave him alone. He normally had this effect on the female population, but never had he seen it as a bad thing. Not until now, anyway.
And if he wanted to, he could keep this going on forever. He didn't owe her anything. But he didn't want to keep this going forever because he very much wanted to leave. So he shrugged, "A student left them for me," if she had to know. The brownies were a gift. Not a very good one either because James didn't eat sugar. But they were appreciated all the same. Bet no one ever gave Sora gifts. Though she could really use the gift of tact. Just saying.
Who put her in charge anyways? James had zero respect for any authority she had just given herself.
And ah good, the old man was here. Just in time.
Honestly, James had started to worry that he'd never make it up here. Professor Potions was practically on his death bed he was so old. Stairs couldn't possibly be easy for him.
Anyways now that they had an antidote.... James took out his wand, pointing at his legs to do the counter spell and... "So if that'll be all," he nodded at everyone. "I have to feed the hippogriffs." They got real hangry, y'know? Hippogriffs, you know how they are.
