Now this sounded like something Olly could do. It involved going out and doing things instead of sitting and just learning. Perfect! He jumped up from his desk and made his way outside with the rest of the class. He tried not to go where everyone else was going but there were so many of them of course there were clumps everywhere. In the end he decided to check out the playground first. Anything hiding under the swings or behind the monkey bars? He searched and searched and searched and then he spotted something.

Olly wanted to take advantage of the grounds while it was still warm. It would be for a while, and it was the perfect time for him to head out to....the playground. Actually he had just been headed outside in general, without any real plan in mind. When he'd gotten out there, though, he made a split second decision and headed toward the playground. The first place Olly went was to the monkey bars. He swung himself from one side to the other a couple of times. To be honest it was starting to hurt his hands. So instead he managed to hoist himself up so he was sitting on top of the monkey bars. There. Now he could pretend he was taller than
everyone. Olly picked up the small rock and hoped it really was a meteorite and not just a rock. But it didn't look like a regular rock so he felt good about his find. Olly held it tightly in his hands and made his way back to the Astronomy tower. There were a lot of stairs between the grounds and the tower so he didn't exactly get back quickly. And he was definitely out of breath by the time he returned. Olly just hoped he was still within their given hour. It looked like there were still several people not yet back so it was probably okay.
