She had acknowledged Hagan’s little head nudge by lightly scratching between his ears, even as she had returned the small grin that the cat’s owner had given her. “Just going for a walk,” she said with a shrug. There wasn’t any reason to come up with some elaborate answer when the reality was so simple. Besides, she had no reason to lie. It was Hady, and in all honesty she figured that people would say her problem was in being too honest. Toni plopped down in her chair with a satisfied grin on her face. Her mother had been right, Hogwarts was amazing. She'd been wanting to take a closer look at the Whomping Willow but hadn't had time until now. Ilvermorny never had anything like that tree!
She gently placed the space rock on her desk and awaited the professors instructions.
