There were some really great views out the large windows of Ravenclaw tower. She had even taken notes in her astronomy notebook. Although being up to watch the meteor shower last night meant that she was tired today, it was worth the lack of sleep to witness the meteor shower. Now they would get a chance to find the meteorites that were left over from last night's meteor shower. Maybe she would find a meteorite that was from one of the meteors she had seen. Dragging her pet rock Luna on a purple leash behind her, Penelope set off to search for a meteorite. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Luna dragged along. On her way out, Penelope dropped a page of notes with her observations of the previous night's meteor shower, including some sketches of where in the sky the meteors had been and what time she had seen them, on Professor Flamsteed's desk.
As she passed the table where the lint roller had been, Penelope noticed that the lint roller, her lint roller, was missing. A quick check of the floor revealed that it had not rolled off the table. It had probably been stolen. She suspected Daxton, who was one of the top four suspects on her list of possible suspects for pranks and stolen items. Nifflers had also made it onto the list after recent events, but lint rollers were not shiny enough for nifflers and she hadn't seen any today. She'd have to look in to that. Quote:

James watched as the hippy herbologist went around him trying to undo the horrible leash trap. Still while this was being done, James continued trying to loosen the tightly wrapped fabric. All was alright (considering this mess) until what Paul said next.
No.
LOL.
No.
Merlin didn't love. Though he was sniffing quite a bit. Which was strange. Honestly, the dog wasn't normally this friendly. But 'love at first sniff' it was almost as ridiculous as the garb Paul wore to the welcome feast. lol. "He's just being friendly," Paul had an extensive imagination. And terrible sense in fashion. "What happened to your other dog?" Not that James cared about Paul's personal life, but honestly wasn't there another one here last year? Penelope was walking outside by the lake with her pet rock Luna when she noticed an interesting rock on the ground. It didn't look like any of the rocks that were usually found around here. It must be one of the meteorites. Maybe it would be a good pet rock companion for Luna. The Grey Lady's pet rock, Aquila, would have to stay at Hogwarts, so it seemed fitting to find a new companion for Luna. Penelope picked up the meteorite and turned around, heading back to the castle.
When she walked back into the room with Luna dragging along and meteorite in hand, Penelope headed back to her desk. She couldn't help but notice the lint rollers on Daxton's desk. One of them was the one that she had left on the table earlier. "Collecting lint rollers, Daxton?" Penelope pulled out another lint roller with her name written on the handle from her pocket and dropped it on the desk in front of Daxton. She knew he wasn't going to say anything, but she was curious as to how he would react. The Great Lake, Post #49
