Okay “Headmaster” let’s get one thing straight here. Of course he was “quite irritated” that Sora had prevented him from leaving the room. He didn’t even WANT to be here in the first place. He was just trying to do a good deed for once in his life before everything fell to hippogriff dung, which meant it was a perfect moment to make a well-timed exit. And then his feet were STUCK for absolutely NO REASON. Had Sora just ASKED he would’ve stayed. He wasn’t trying to run for it. Well, he was… But not for any suspicious reasons. He just hated student chaos. Not his division.

……….. Why wasn’t James included in this holding of the fort?

HELLO, HE WAS STANDING RIGHT HERE!!!! despite not really having a choice in the matter but he was still RIGHT HERE.

This was the first and last time he would ever do anything for the good of others. Mark these words.

……. He gave the fake Professor (Sora) who taught the fake subject a single brow. ”What exactly is it that you’re trying to imply?” Not that he needed to ask because he knew. She was going to say that this was his fault.

So let’s get another thing straight here:

a) If this was James’ fault, he would’ve unstuck himself and ran for it. He’s not an idiot. He has a wand on him at all times. He knows the counter spell.

b) If James had wanted to poison the students he would’ve done so without other Professors present. He’s not an idiot. He knows how to poison properly. This was far too messy of a plan to be his own.

c) Everyone ate the Headmaster’s food too. Couldn’t it be HIS fault? They hardly even knew the man. In fact, how could they even be sure this exchange was real? Bloke waltzed in with a funky accent and everyone trusted him immediately, yet James had been teaching for over a year and he was the first to be accused? Rude.

d) He knew he didn’t like this woman from the start. She was bad news.

e) If it was the brownies, then he had been framed.

f) Why the heck was he listing things when he didn’t even care about this situation in the slightest.
