Added bonus in the fact that they could keep the objects and do a extra credit project with them. Even if space wasn't really her THING, Esme definitely thought that working with a rock from space was pretty darn cool.
Not sure where she wanted to head, she decided to let her feet take her wherever they wanted to go. Apparently said place was the great lake. Not only was it one of her favourite places at the school but there were lots of places nearby where a meteorite could be located. She began combing the land right by the shore and wasn't having much luck. Probably better to move father back... About to give up, she spotted something further along the shore. Just what she needed! Quote:

Which she was thwarted on by the previous Head Boy. She hadn't really visited it all that much after.
And yet it was one of the places she was gonna miss the most when it seemed like she'd never see Hogwarts again. This year she was gonna spend more time at the lake, with Asher. And with Thomas, her magical camera, so she could have pictures of it to remember forever. Both were with her today. Asher on her shoulder and Thomas in her messenger bag, next to her secret journal of ideas that only she could open thanks to Penny.
Only, Hadley wasn't the only one who had the idea of visiting the lake. "Hey Abs..." It was Abby, right? Hads was fairly sure of that. She sat down next to her older house mate, without checking to see if it was okay first. "What's up?" Holding her very own meteorite was rather surreal and Esme was quite excited as she rushed back to the classroom BEAMING and showing Professor Flamsteed what she had done.
What an accomplishment. The Great Lake, post #4 |
