Fluttery Pegasi No, she wasn't exactly buying his assurance that he wanted her to be her. No one wanted her to be who she was. Not her parents, not Professor Itchy Mara, not Professor Prime. That was half the reason she was here today, in her mind: Being who she was.
She didn't voice that though. It was slow going enough as it was with the extra thick grime on the walls. Hadley didn't need to give him reason to thicken it anymore. "The Hag was introduced as our Divination professor," Hadley reminded him. Making her squarely one of them. A professor. "Professor Newton. One of our class assignments was to drink a non-fatal poison, while our group partner worked on the cure. But the ingredients were bad or something, so the cures didn't work."

She continued to scrub, slowly making her way through a single wall. How much time was left, Hadley didn't know. But somehow she was sure that Professor Prime wouldn't accept less than spotless. And that slowed things down considerably. But she was done with one wall, and moving onto the next. Her tears were dry now.
There was one thing Hadley wasn't doing though. She wasn't thinking of ways to apologize to Dot. She'd done that already despite what Professor Prime thought.
