The Professor wasn't having a bad day but it wasn't a good day either. These mediocre days almost seemed to merge into one another and if it wasn't for the lessons he had to teach, he wouldn't have known the difference between them.

When the sound of the knocking came, the man hardly looked up from the board he was currently frowning at. It had a number of name tags and, when tapped correctly, they would wiggle around and join up with other names there and even form a few lines. It all looked confusing but the Defence Professor knew exactly what was going on. And the only way anyone else would know what this was about is if they caught the words 'Dueling Club' written at the top of the board.

His pre-order for a new Dark Arts book had come through merely hours ago so, a trip to Diagon Alley had been much needed. And it gave him the chance to get out of the castle for a few, a rare opportunity.

Pity someone he'd been looking for hadn't been there.

As it was, Hirch had just shrugged off his coat and set the water to boil when the knocking came. ....... Weird. Who could need him now?
