Let it be known. He knew for a fact that Hufflepuff was in last and he didn't need them to lose more points on his account. Also, Flamsteed was one of his favourite professors of all time - THE ONE CONSTANT IN HIS LIFE, REALLY - and he didn't need the man thinking he didn't respect him. Or his subject. Because he did. Immensely.
