It sounded like a lot when Professor Myers explained it all at once like that. But really, if Olly took it step by step it wasn't so bad. First things first all he had to do was grab the daffodil. That was like the easiest step ever. So he did just that. Of course it wasn't as simple as just grabbing it because there were requirements about where to grab it and he had to be gentle and everything but it was still pretty easy. Olly grabbed the big stem just below the petals, and was of course very careful not to crush any of the leaves.

The next step was just a bit more complicated but still fairly easy. He took the small shovel and transferred some of the dirt from the old pot into the new one. Apparently it was necessary even if Olly didn't completely understand why. Wouldn't the flower like all new, fresh dirt? That would be like washing part of your sheets but not the whole thing so when you got into bed part of it felt nice and fresh but some of it was still old and not completely clean. Or was it not like that at all with plants? Apparently not. So he transferred some of the dirt and it was time to move on to the next step.
