Norah made a conscious effort to make her handwriting as neat as she could possibly could (which was still not very neat, but at least her sentences were in somewhat straight lines) because this stuff was important. She absolutely intended to make honking daffodils part of her daily life someday when she had her very own garden. That was the dream. So, good notes it was.
She gave her flower another grin before pulling her wand out and aiming it. "Sorry, little guy." It was rude enough to tell somebody to be quiet, let alone CHARM them to be quiet. Poor lil' bubs. "Silencio!" Mid-honk, the daffodil fell silent. Even after almost seven whole years at this school, Norah still felt a little jolt of excitement when her spell worked on the first time. After ALL this time. Ridiculous. She paused to make sure nothing disastrous could happen to it before vacating her seat to fill the other pot with soil. The seventh year closed her eyes and inhaled the sweet scent of dirt, which she was almost positive would be a big component of her amortentia scent. Along with chocolate chip cookies. And Yoongi, probably. And even more chocolate chip cookies. Soil. Right. She quickly added more soil to the pot until it was as close to halfway full as she could get it and gave the surface a little pat before returning to her seat.
Ta da! Anybody need help? Aaaaaanybody?
