Hads slowly slid down the wall until she was sitting on the dungeon floor. It wasn't the cleanest surface to sit on but at this moment she didn't care. "Has anything like this happened to you? You being told you've done things that you have no memory of doing? Things you would never do?" "I don''t know." Dot was willing to give the girl a pass. She crossed her arms across her chest and stepped out into the hallway. "You didn't say much of anything, just... Books. Books, like you were real single-minded about it. So maybe it wasn't you, but you'd think someone would polyjuice themselves as a less distinguishable ickle." Dot gave a nod to the girl's bright hair. Hadley wasn't exactly incognito at Hogwarts.
She crouched near the girl and gave her leg a pat. It wasn't all bad, really. Sort of funny, if you stepped back from it and squinted. "Maybe you were hypnotized. D'you know any magicians?"
