Fluttery Pegasi The horrified look was very telling. Hadley rolled her eyes amused. "Whatever you are thinking, I didn't mean that. Just you can't spend your life studying and cramming for tests. You have to enjoy other things beyond that?" She paused a moment and looked Mossy up and down. "Well, at the very least, do something with the things you learn. What's the use of knowing it if you don't use it?" Surely the girl could see the wisdom of that.
Hadley had to stifle her chuckle as Mossy protested that's she'd go through puberty and have to deal with hormones. "Yes you will. It's biological. 'All children, except one, grow up.' And I'm closer to that one than you are." She was, of course, speaking about Peter Pan. "You do know what puberty is don't you?" It's unavoidable. "You'll still be you even with puberty, you know that too, right?" Wasn't this basic stuff? Mossy should know this already.
Hadley raised an eyebrow at the protests of being scared of animals. It wasn't worth arguing. And even if she'd wanted to, Mossy made it unlikely by leaning in and asking a question. A question that made Hadley blush scarlet. Denying it now would be a blatant lie. "I...do. He's a Gryffindor."
