This next class though, he was definitely going to take it seriously. He had to.
And then Hady told him she knew who Timila was but there wasn't much expression in her face when she said it, which made him very curious. "Is it a good think that you know of her? Just curious. Her likability varies." Obviously, he loved his twin sister but he didn't always like the things she'd say and do. Plus, it wasn't like he'd get too mad at Hady if she said knowing Tim was a bad though no promises, though.
He was trying his absolutely best not to let his mind wander back to all that Kali had done to him. For now, he was going to be a civil member of the Hogwarts society. Moping and letting his anger get the best of him would have to wait until he was alone. 'least his temper was lessening with time though. "Yeah, I've heard that. I'm just going to keep hoping my way speeds up though." Because even if he was snogging people, he still wasn't over Kaliyah. Hady was making sense in regards to the OWLs though. But ew. OWLs. "That's good advice, especially since my weak subjects are everything but Charms and Muggle Studies." Maybe he'd work in the muggle stuff department at the ministry. He knew enough anyway.
"I'm sure you're not the only one that doesn't actually do the mediation in that class," she answered with a soft laugh. Picking up her goblet she took another sip of water before setting it down.
"It does require patience and some practice to be able to fully clear your mind but if you can get it down packed it's rather enjoyable." If he needed more pointers she had no problem trying to help him with it if he was serious about learning.
Hadleigh eyed Oliver for a moment, taking another carrot stick, biting into it then chewing and swallowing before she gave an answer.
"I can't give an honest answer here. I don't know her well enough to, however I do know for a fact that she's good friends with my best friend and he likes her. Therefore I have to somewhat assume she can't be a bad person." If the bestie didn't have a problem with Timmy then the girl couldn't be all that horrible. Simple as that.
There wasn't much she could go on when it came to breakups exact that it hurt...and that people handled it differently. Time helped lessen that pain but not as she had hoped. What she had had to do was get to the root of the problem and admit that she had been wrong.
"You do whatever works for you." Simple as that.
"Working in a small group to study isn't a bad idea either." One or two others. Unless you were the type that did your best on your own.
