"Oh, so you don't wanna dance professionally or anything?" Which he still thought was cool. He could hardly move to a basic beat, let alone do actual hip-hop. And even though Tim really only did ballet, he couldn't imagine what actually doing those things was like. "My sister is Timila, or Timmy...or Tim. She's my twin. In Gryffindor." He wasn't sure if he was supposed to explain what she looked like too...but seeing as Timila almost always left an impression on people, he figured if Hady knew her, she wouldn't forget her name.
And then Hady was saying she had gone through a break up recently too and that made Ollie sad. She seemed so nice, and she was pretty, so why would someone break up with her? Granted, she could've broken up with the other person as well, but if she was sad about it, Oliver couldn't help but think it had been the other way around. "I was kind of blind-sided by mine. But I'm getting over it. Moving on." Moving on in a sense. Snogging other girls without any attachments was a form of moving on, was it not? "I'm really sorry you had to go through the same thing though. It really sucks." Oliver wanted to laugh when she said he should focus on his OWLs, though he held it back. No need to be rude. "OWLs kind of make me anxious if I focus on them too much, honestly. But I've been doing alright at keeping distracted lately." By snogging girls. It was much more fun than OWLs.
Hady stopped nibbling at her sandwich, setting it down on her plate for a minute.
"Well Professor Myers usually has everyone do a small form of mediation before each class so I learned it there. It's basically just about completely clearing your mind and find a sense of quiet and relaxation." Some found this really difficult to do but if you were able to achieve it, it was nice.
"Nope. I enjoy dancing, sure but it's not my life." Just like music. It was a big part of her life as was the band but it wasn't her dream. The moment Oliver spoke his sisters name Hady knew who the girl was. Not that she knew her very well or personally even but she did know who the girl was. Zeke's friend, he had told her about the other girl years earlier when they had spoken about dancing.
"Mm' I know who she is. I've heard she's quite the dancer." From a people actually.
Blind-sided. That's a calmer way of putting it. Letting out a small breath she nodded her head in understanding. That was how her had been. She hadn't realized there had been a problem. Things were getting better now for her though.
"Moving on is good. It takes time and everyone has their own way in doing so." Some ways better then others.
"It happens. I've learned from it some very important things and I've worked with what I've learned." She gave him a light smile.
"As for OWLs just don't wait to long. Study a little at a time, especially things you're not as strong in."
