This summer, hopefully, if it wasn't a repeat of last summer, she might have a chance to play a summer league or something.
Hads took a long moment, standing in the center of the large pitch, and just took it all in. In her head she was imaging herself up there, racing around on a broom in the heat of a Quidditch match. The houses cheering around them. Or at least she imagined what she thought it'd look like, because she hadn't actually seen a Quidditch match. Ever.
After a moment she turned and made her way to the shed. She'd come here to fly on Charlie the broom and that's what she was gonna do. If there was one thing Skylar had been looking forward to at Hogwarts - besides the magical creatures - it would have been the opportunity to play quidditch as her parents had done. She'd played at home a couple times with her family and friends but it was totally different when you were playing for a team, with peers.
Of course knowing that Hogwarts still had the ban on quidditch, her parents didn't even bother getting her a broom yet. There were hopefully still school brooms available for use, unless they'd been locked up someplace? She didn't know. Mostly what she was doing , besides looking suspicious was just picturing what it would be like to fly for her house team. She was sad for a moment as she recalled her father being furious at her for being a Slytherin. Like it was her fault she was more ambitious and valued that among things loyalty and friendship? Her friends knew she loved them and would protect them but she also needed to be miss independent and strive to be her best self.
Reflecting it took a bit for her to notice that she wasn't alone out here. Huh? She thought quidditch was banned but apparently others wanted to be out here as much as she did. "Have you played before ?" Sky asked by way of breaking the ice. Given she had a broom, she'd assume so, but who knew... Maybe she stole it from someone...
