Clearly Ollie needed to do some research on this, because if it was helpful to his workouts as well as to his brain, maybe it would be worth doing. "Oh, you dance? That's really cool. My sister used to sometimes still does dance. What kind of dancing do you do?" He had always wanted to get into dancing when Timila did it but for whatever reason, he didn't pick it up as quickly as her and then he eventually just gave up.
Ollie nodded, remembering how hard it had been for him to clean up his diet when he had started working out but aside from today, he was doing really well! "You're welcome!" He really was glad she was doing well. But the next question wasn't really all that expected. Oliver genuinely thought maybe Hady wouldn't ask why he had struggled. "Uuummm....not really. Though I really need to study for those more...." Which he kept telling himself but it was really never going to happen. "Actually my girlfriend broke up with me I'm December, so, yeah." He shrugged and offered her a small smile so Hady wouldn't feel awkward about him saying it and all. "It's my favorite!"
Most people did forget. She herself had forgotten this as well but having looked into the whole yoga thing she had learned a fair deal. Mediation was nice though, mind clearing and very relaxing.
"It's honestly probably one of my favorite parts now. It really helps me relax and focus better." Comes in handy before tests and other big events.
"Not as much as I did years ago. It's more for fun then anything else really but when I do it's mainly a form or hip hop or freestyle dance. I do what I'm in the mood for." Whatever felt right was what she did at the moment unlike her practiced dancing back when she was four. His sister? Hady went blank on that for a moment causing her to ask,
"Who's your sister?" Chances were she knew but with everyone in the school it was sometimes tough to remember who was related to who.
This kid was to sweet and earned himself another smile from her. His manners were wonderful, any chance he could teach some others around here? Not really? Uh-oh. The second Oliver opened his mouth and said those words Hady got a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. She didn't know the boy well even if he was in her house but just his tone of voice told her something was off. And then he said that. A breakup. That's all it took for her to connect with him just then. The pain was there and she knew how it felt.
"I know that feeling, I went through one myself not to long ago." In October actually.
"Just do what you can to focus on other things, like OWLs. Make that a good distraction." Keeping busy helped.
"I don't know many that would turn down ice cream," she laughed in agreement, taking another sip of water before starting on her turkey and cheese sandwich.
