Picking up a carrot she nibbled on it. Running in the mornings had slowly become a part of her routine as well. Now she wasn't wonderful at it nor did she fully enjoy it yet but she was getting there. Dancing and the drums would still win out every time though. "That's cool. I'm not into full on workouts but I do a bit of running in the mornings now and I manage to get some yoga in there when I can." Mainly because Professor Ichihara had said to. Oliver's comment about working on the eating thing had her laughing but agreeing with him. "I have been. More healthier meals and I've been making a point in not skipping meals." It was easier now that she had more time on her hands. Oliver nodded, understanding completely. He also knew people probably thought he never meant it when he said sorry because he said it so often, but he really always did mean it. He was just always sorry for things that happened, even if they were out of his control. He'd get that checked out one day. Maybe. "That's really cool. I've never done yoga...because I don't know how to really." And he didn't really see the point? It was just a lot of stretching, wasn't it? He already did plenty of that before working out. "I do remember when I first started running with my friend Brian though. It was the worst feeling ever honestly." And now that he was used to it, it became his way of blowing off steam. Working out was great and all, but running was just different. It was kind of a way to run away from his problems without actually running away from his problems.
Grinning at her laugh, he decided Hady was a pretty nice person. Sure, she could still be sucky, though he doubted it, but at least she wasn't rude. Ollie couldn't figure out why in the world he had never spoken to her before. "Oh hey! That's really good. I'm proud of you." He wasn't sure why he'd said those words...but it was kind of true. He was a worrier and so if she was eating properly, he'd never have to worry about her...even if she was a stranger. "I'd been really good about eating my meals until...semi-recently," Oliver shrugged. No way was he gonna talk about Kali right now. Nope. "But I always make sure to have my daily dose of ice cream!" His addiction was real but he had no problem or shame about it. |
