Dalia had only got a few pages in before Calcifer started trying to chew the edge of her book. She lazily pushed him away a few times before picking him up and setting her book down beside her. She hadn't even noticed the other girl walked in until.. "Oh, yeah. He's a dude." She pat the little rat on the head. "His name is Calcifer." she said, holding him out for the girl to hold.

"'N I'm Dalia." she added. Maybe new friends didn't have to wait. Destiny finds you and all that. Her mum would have something to say about it that's for sure.
