Post 2. Preparing Fårikål and eating our marshmallows Mischievous Niffler Kitty cut the cabbage into what she estimated to be quarters like the instructions said. Her knife slipped at one point, resulting in one of the pieces being a little bigger than the others. That was okay. Next she poured the water into the cauldron. As she did this the flames below her cauldron flickered and rose higher before descending back to their normal position.
The next step was very enjoyable: Placing first a layer of meat and vegetables into the pot, and then a layer of freshly cut cabbage, then placing another layer of vegetables and meat into the pot - and sprinkling each layer with salt and pepper. Doing this gave Kitty a very satisfying feeling and made her forget about her cold. In fact, she may have gotten carried away with the salt and pepper. She sprinkled way more pepper and salt into her slices than was required or than was even in most foods with salt and pepper. Kitty knew she was putting on too much, but that was okay for one meal, right?
Her slices were all used up pretty quickly. Humming happily to herself, Kitty covered the pot and took out the marshmallows. Soon she would be preparing the Daper, but first she wanted to take a break and eat some marshmallows. "These marshmallows are pretty good Professor," mumbled Kitty with her mouth full. |
