The Curly Top was just petting and watching Bowie's even breathing when the professor advised the hydration step. Eh but his crup was sleeping now, did he have to wake him up to give him some water which he may not even drink anyway?

But oh wait... They could adopt?... Wait why are the older kids only allowed to adopt them? What about little ones like himself? He felt confident he can take care of Bowie. He’s had a headstart with the whole crup raising with Maple.

Anyways, it was time to return them to their pen and Tenacius figured that would be the best for the sleeping Bowie. He carried the crup back and tucked him to his own little corner of the pen and then placed his drinking bowl near him. "I'll be back for you boy I promise." he whispered as he gently petted the crup's head. And Bowie wagged a tail, as if he understood him.

He collected his things then walked alongside the Professor "Sir can I drop by your office too?" He too is interested in adopting.
