He was trying to reach for her earrings, which meant his hands were getting dangerously close to her FACE. They weren't even real gold, but still, BOUNDARIES, MAN! Eyes bugging out of her head, she stepped back and slapped his hands away from her. "Oi, get off! What's wrong with you?!" she asked him, even though she was pretty certain at this point the boy wouldn't - or couldn't - answer her question.
