Bath Time! Post 1 curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog Now that teeth were brushed and the crup herself was all brushed, it was time for the bath. Scarlett knew from experience that this was likely going to be the hardest part of this whole ordeal...dogs generally did NOT like to remain cooperative for all this sudsy nonsense.
"Alright Clover, you're going to be good and cooperate with me, right?" she told her. The crup looked at her, panting with her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth. Hehe. How cute! She took that as a yes - she hoped. "Aguamenti!" she exclaimed, pointing at a nearby empty tub and watching as it filled with water. She only filled it about half the way, so she would have room for all the runoff water. She then turned to Clover and scooped her up in her arms, and the crup happily obliged - but as soon as she saw that she was headed for the tub, she changed her tune and tried to crawl up her arm and over her shoulder. "No, no, NO, Clover, bad cruppy! You have to do this!" she told her, although now that she was fighting the crup, it had turned into a game, and Clover was now trying to leap over her shoulder AND kept licking at her face and ear. It was cute and making Scarlett giggle, but she wanted to yell NOT FUNNY and have some willpower to get her in the tub. She could do this, SHE COULD DO THIS... "Clover, STOP," she said firmly, taking the pup by the armpits, picking her up, and placing her in the tub. She kicked as she hit the water, sending it EVERYWHERE, but Scarlett held her until she calmed down a bit, and she was now safely in the tub. Thank goodness!
