Niomi was getting cold outside, luckily class started. Once the Professor said they would be building their own fires, Niomi was nervous and excited at the same time. At least she can get warmed by something she made all on her own.

For the first step, Niomi collected her wood. She followed the Professor in collecting five pieces. She has never built a fire before in her life. Making sure she was doing this right, she followed each step carefully.

Once Niomi got her match, she was about to light the wood. Being nervous, she took a deep breath. Lighting the match, she placed the lit match on the wood. Right away the fire started. That wasn't that bad of a job. Niomi was proud of herself. She had a confident smile on her face, ready to continue on with the lesson.
