HAHAHAHAHA!
He would have laughed aloud if the girl not too far away from him wasn't almost dangling to her doom. It was funny, though; the missing the last step.
Getting over his amusement--masking it, at least--the curly hair brat dropped his bag on the steps and ran to the girl, who didn't sound as terrified as he would have guess. He was already making bets that this was another one of those Gryffindor girls who got angry instead of frightened.
"Here, give me your hand," he announced, reaching with his and planting his feet properly on the ground. There was no way he was going to be dragged into a doom that wasn't meant for him.
She didn’t know where the kid had come from but this was no time to ask questions in the first place. Bec reached out to grab his hand and then pulled herself up and out of the trap.
“Stupid staircase, what’s wrong with this school?!” she fired up immediately, flapping her arms wildly as she ignored, or rather did not notice the scrape on her leg.
When she was done ranting, the Gryffindor turned to face her saviour and without warning she wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him tightly.
“Thanks Sir Saviour! You saved my life!” ok that was probably exaggerated.
Totally unashamed she just hugged a boy, Bec let go with a smile .
“What’s your name?” Not that she was going to use his name though. He was going to be named Sir Saviour from now on.
