Mariel was rather amused at this interaction, though she was also quite touched by the display, and she watched as the "delivery person" came closer, but still didn't show what she was sure was a very handsome face.

"No note? Hmm, that means I'll just have to guess at who might have sent them," she drawled, never taking her eyes off the flowers or person behind them. "They are such beautiful flowers." She laughed lightly. "Perhaps... Secret admirers are so exciting, of course."

She gave her husband a more genuine smile as he set the flowers down, finally revealing who she had been more and more certain was behind them. "Hello. What a lovely surprise."
